About Us
Meghalaya sits at the bottom of the educational index as per the performance grading for the year 2021. It lacks the funding, resources and infrastructure necessary to provide quality education and access as well as support to the teachers. Amid the beautiful scenic views, our chairman witnessed the bleak situation of primary education and this inspired him to bridge the educational gaps in the area and help disadvantaged kids. And here is how he dreamed of opening UPAY’s learning centre in Meghalaya in Sillanggre village for the rural and tribal children.
